Welcome to your dog's home away from home

Located in the idyllic Welsh countryside a few miles south of Newtown in Powys, Windmill Boarding Kennels is owned and operated by Lissa Charles.

Lissa has been passionate about animals from a young age and, following training in equine, worked as a veterinary nurse for 20 years. She worked alongside veterinary surgeons in order to provide a high standard of care for animals, giving her a wide range of experience in the care and treatment for all dogs.

In her spare time she judges and exhibits Great Danes. Lissa also specialises in canine reproduction, having recently successfully achieved the Advanced Dog Breeding Diploma and also qualified for ultrasound for pregnancy - which is now available through Windmill Canine Services together with other professional canine services.
